FISHING TOURS:

Powerboat fishing for bass and trout.
Enjoy a relaxing half-day guided fishing tour from the deck of our comfortable and fully equipped fishing boat. We will enjoy spin casting, trolling and fly-fishing depending on customers preferences, and what the fish are feeding on. Rainbow trout, lake trout, and small mouth bass are the primary species. All tackle, a snack, refreshments and transportation are included. A Vermont State Fishing License is required and can be purchased at time of registration.

Stream/river wading and fly fishing for trout.
Enjoy a half or full day excursion along the banks of one of the areas great trout streams. Brook trout, rainbow trout and brown trout are the primary species and fly-fishing is preferred. Fly casting instruction is provided for the more novice. All trips include rod rental, tackle (flies), waders, a snack or lunch, refreshments and transportation. A Vermont State Fishing License is required and can be purchased at time of registration.

BIKING TOURS:

The Nordic Barn offers guided biking tours everyday by reservation. Whether you looking for the thrill of single track mountain biking or the carefree leisure of the award-winning Stowe Bike Path, we can take care of your every wish. All bike tours are led by one of our experienced guides with consummate knowledge of the surrounding trails. Design your own excursion through the lush valleys of Stowe with the help of our great staff. Rental bikes are not included but are available for an additional fee based on the length of the ride.

HIKING TOURS:

The Nordic Barn provides hiking tours for all abilities from the last weekend in May to the last weekend in October. All of our tours are led by an experienced guide with excellent knowledge of the local trails. Enjoy the rocky summit of Mt. Mansfield or the tranquil splendor of Moss Glen Falls. Our guided hiking tours are designed by you with the help of our knowledgeable staff.

Some things to consider the when planning your special time with us:

What is the date or time of the season you wish to hike?
What time of day would you like to go?
How long do you want the hike to last?
Would you like the hike to be easy, moderate or difficult?

Reserve your guided hike in advance by phone or email. Reservations must be made 1 week in advance to guarantee availability. All hikes include water and snack, other meals optional.
